Bourbon Smash
A Dale DeGroff-popularized classic where bourbon meets muddled mint, lemon, and sugar over crushed ice for a juicy, herb-streaked whiskey cooler.
Ingredients
- 2 ozbourbon
- ¾ ozsimple syrup
- ¾ ozlemon juice
- garnishmint and/or lemon slice
Steps
- 1.Muddle the fresh ingredients firmly in the bottom of the shaker.
- 2.Add remaining ingredients and fill with ice.
- 3.Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds.
- 4.Double-strain into a chilled glass.
