Watermelon Basil Margarita
A seasonal summer Margarita -- fresh watermelon juice and muddled basil with tequila and lime for a herbaceous, refreshing variation.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oztequila
- 1 ½ ozwatermelon juice
- ¾ ozlime juice
- ¼ ozagave
- garnishbasil, lime wedge, or salt
Steps
- 1.Muddle the fresh ingredients firmly in the bottom of the shaker.
- 2.Add remaining ingredients and fill with ice.
- 3.Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds.
- 4.Double-strain into a chilled glass.
