A Savoy Cocktail Book layered shooter — four equal parts of gin, orange liqueur, crème de violette, and cream produce a beautifully layered, perfumed, pink-violet pousse-café that is as decorative as it is delicious.

- ½ ozorange liqueur
- ½ ozcrème de violette
- ½ ozcream
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
- 2.Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well-chilled.
