The writer's personal daiquiri spec from Havana's El Floridita, trading simple syrup for grapefruit juice and maraschino, drinking bone-dry, tart, and bracingly citrus-driven.
Ingredients
- 2 ozlight rum
- ½ ozmaraschino liqueur
- ¾ ozgrapefruit juice
- ½ ozlime juice
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
- 2.Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well-chilled.
- 3.Strain into a chilled glass.
