A Cuban daiquiri variation from the 1930s adding grenadine and maraschino to the classic rum-lime formula. Named after Santiago de Cuba, it sits between a classic daiquiri and a Mary Pickford in its fruit-forward sweetness.
Ingredients
- 2 ozlight rum
- ¾ ozlime juice
- ½ ozgrenadine
- ¼ ozmaraschino liqueur
- garnishlime wedge
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
- 2.Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well-chilled.
- 3.Strain into a chilled glass.
