The Hugo originated in South Tyrol, northern Italy in 2005 and swept through Alpine Europe — elderflower liqueur, Prosecco, soda, fresh mint, and a slice of lime create a floral, refreshing aperitif lighter and more fragrant than the Aperol Spritz.
