The lesser-known rum sibling of the Brandy Alexander — dark rum's molasses depth swaps in beautifully for cognac against the sweet chocolate of crème de cacao and silky heavy cream, finished with a dusting of nutmeg.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ozdark rum
- ¾ ozcrème de cacao
- ¾ ozcream
- garnishnutmeg
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
- 2.Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well-chilled.
- 3.Strain into a chilled glass.
