Sparkling Paloma
A more refined version of the Paloma that replaces grapefruit soda with fresh grapefruit juice and sparkling Prosecco — shaking the tequila base with fresh juice and a little syrup, then topping with bubbles, produces a cleaner, more nuanced grapefruit-agave highball.
Ingredients
- 2 oztequila
- 2 ozgrapefruit juice
- ½ ozlime juice
- ¼ ozsimple syrup
- 2 ozprosecco
- garnishgrapefruit wedge and/or salt
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
- 2.Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well-chilled.
- 3.Strain into a chilled glass.
