Suffering Bastard (Gin)
Joe Scialom's authentic 1942 Shepheard's Hotel Cairo original — gin and cognac combined over ice with lime and bitters then topped with ginger beer and mint, the actual Suffering Bastard as its inventor made it, distinct from the later rum variation.
Ingredients
- 1 ozgin
- 1 ozcognac
- ½ ozlime juice
- 2Angostura bitters
- 4 ozginger beer
- garnishmint
Steps
- 1.Add ice to the glass.
