A New Orleans stirred classic from the Hotel Monteleone layering rye, cognac, sweet vermouth, Bénédictine, and two bitters into a plush, spice-laden sipper named for the French Quarter.

Steps

  1. 1.Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass.
  2. 2.Fill with ice and stir gently for about 30 seconds until well-chilled.
  3. 3.Strain into a chilled glass.
