Waldorf Cocktail
A gilded Manhattan variation from New York's Waldorf-Astoria that adds a barspoon of honey-herb Bénédictine and Peychaud's bitters for a richer, slightly sweeter, more aromatic sipper than the original.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ozrye whiskey
- ¾ ozsweet vermouth
- ¼ ozBénédictine
- 3Peychaud's bitters
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass.
- 2.Fill with ice and stir gently for about 30 seconds until well-chilled.
- 3.Strain into a chilled glass.
