Yuzu Sour
Japanese citrus at its most elegant — yuzu's complex floral tartness (a cross between grapefruit, lemon, and mandarin) is sweetened with simple syrup and softened by egg white into a silky, exotic sour unlike anything from the Western canon.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ozvodka
- ¾ ozyuzu juice
- ½ ozsimple syrup
- 1egg white
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker without ice.
- 2.Seal and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds to emulsify.
- 3.Add ice and shake again for another 10–15 seconds.
- 4.Strain into a chilled glass.
