The 19th-century original Julep form before bourbon took over -- Cognac's oak, stone fruit, and spice shine over crushed ice with fresh mint.
Ingredients
- 2 ½ ozcognac
- ¼ ozsimple syrup
- garnishmint
Steps
- 1.Add the fresh ingredients to the bottom of the glass or shaker and muddle firmly.
- 2.Add the remaining ingredients and ice.
- 3.Stir gently to combine and serve.
