Godfather Sour
A plush sour variation on the Godfather that shakes Scotch and amaretto with lemon and egg white, yielding a silky, almond-rich foam over a lightly smoky whisky base.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ozScotch whisky
- ½ ozamaretto
- ¾ ozlemon juice
- ¼ ozsimple syrup
- 1egg white
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker without ice.
- 2.Seal and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds to emulsify.
- 3.Add ice and shake again for another 10–15 seconds.
- 4.Strain into a chilled glass.
