Navy Daisy
A rum daisy built on navy-strength overproof rum — falernum spice and black currant cassis sweeten and color a lime sour base, then soda lifts the whole drink into a complex, full-flavored Caribbean daisy.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ozoverproof rum
- ¾ ozlime juice
- ½ ozfalernum
- ¼ ozcrème de cassis
- 1 ozsoda water
- garnishlime wedge
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
- 2.Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well-chilled.
- 3.Strain into a chilled glass.
