A frothy tequila sour with maraschino liqueur and grenadine that predates the Cosmopolitan and Tommy's Margarita. The egg white creates a silky foam that carries the drink's delicate citrus and cherry aromas.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oztequila
- 1 ozlime juice
- ½ ozmaraschino liqueur
- ½ ozgrenadine
- 1egg white
- garnishlime slice
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker without ice.
- 2.Seal and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds to emulsify.
- 3.Add ice and shake again for another 10–15 seconds.
- 4.Strain into a chilled glass.
