Elderflower Sour
A delicate modern sour that pairs gin with elderflower liqueur as the sweetening component — the floral, perfumed elderflower softens the gin's botanicals and creates a lighter, more fragrant alternative to the classic gin sour. The egg white adds a signature silky foam finish.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ozgin
- ¾ ozelderflower liqueur
- ¾ ozlemon juice
- 1egg white
- garnishlemon twist
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker without ice.
- 2.Seal and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds to emulsify.
- 3.Add ice and shake again for another 10–15 seconds.
- 4.Strain into a chilled glass.
