Mezcal New York Sour
A smoky twist on the New York Sour where mezcal replaces whiskey, frothed with lemon, syrup, and egg white before a red wine float lays a dark, fruity cap across the top.
Ingredients
- 2 ozmezcal
- ¾ ozlemon juice
- ¾ ozsimple syrup
- 1egg white
- ½ ozred wine
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker without ice.
- 2.Seal and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds to emulsify.
- 3.Add ice and shake again for another 10–15 seconds.
- 4.Strain into a chilled glass.
