Rum Sour
A Caribbean-leaning variation on the classic sour where aged rum's vanilla and caramel warmth meet lemon and sugar, capped with a silky egg-white foam.
Ingredients
- 2 ozaged rum
- ¾ ozlemon juice
- ¾ ozsimple syrup
- 1egg white
- garnishorange slice
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker without ice.
- 2.Seal and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds to emulsify.
- 3.Add ice and shake again for another 10–15 seconds.
- 4.Strain into a chilled glass.
