Spicy Mezcal Sour
Mezcal's smokiness amplified by muddled jalapeño heat in a frothy agave sour -- bold, smoky, and spicy with a cooling egg white texture.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ozmezcal
- ¾ ozlime juice
- ½ ozagave
- 1egg white
- garnishjalapeño slice and/or lime wedge
Steps
- 1.Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker without ice.
- 2.Seal and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds to emulsify.
- 3.Add ice and shake again for another 10–15 seconds.
- 4.Strain into a chilled glass.
